TESTING OF BLAST PROTECTIVE BOOTS mod. ZEMAN AM

 

 

In period March - April 2001 in testing facility University of Pardubice, Dept. of Theory and Technology of Explosives tests Blast Protective Boots "Zeman AM" were undertaken.

Boots were fitted to measuring equipment, equipped by accelerometer. Weigh of person was simulated by 65 kg weight. Under heel was placed simulated mines. It was plastic ring dia. 45 mm containing 25, 35 or 50 g of Semtex. 50 g of Semtex is equal to 70 g of TNT.
