1st level –
multi-layer armour in sole
Sole contains special multi-layer ballistic armour. When
overpressure (energy of explosion) income to armour part
or energy is reflected back from armour, part of energy
is consumed by programmable destruction prepared layers,
part of energy flow around boots to surrounding space and
only small part of energy go trough multi-layer armour and
income to inner armour.
2nd level –
inner armour
Inside boots, around lower leg is situated inner armour.
This reduces effect of overpressure incoming trough multi-layer
armour (from sole) as well as overpressure and fragments
incoming from surround. Special attention was given to development
of heal seat and toe cup. Trials with charges exploded in
front of boots simulated situation when user kick at unexploded
ordnance.
Only small part of energy incoming trough multi-layer armour
and reduced by inner armour is received by human body.
3rd level – ballistic
protection
All leather parts of boots are reinforced by ballistic material.
It ensure ballistic protection against fragments (mines
body, soils) accelerated by explosion or other flying particles.
4th level –
anti-perforation protection
Special construction of sole ensures 250% anti-perforation
according to requirements of EN 345 S3 standard. It is 2,5
time more then offer special safety shoes containing usually
steel anti-perforation insert.
5th level – tread energy
protection
Special construction of heel and anatomic replaceable innersole
washable in water 40°C, absorbing tread energy in heelset.
